Process development and prototype area
Process development and the prototype area are a single organisational unit, which equips the production departments of the firm with well-engineered manufacturing devices and procedures.
Tailor-made products need tailored procedures for their production. In our own prototype area, new manufacturing processes are tested and optimised. Furthermore, the prototype area produces all prototypes for our customers during the stage of prototyping, pattern-making and pre-series. This is how experience is obtained, which is incorporated into the design of serial tools and processes.
Process development provides the manufacturing facilities with which procedures tested in the prototype area are implemented for mass production. This covers the conception, design and commissioning of a large range of machinery for coating systems, injection moulding, testing and assembly facilities, all the way to automated packaging.
Of course, the process development works closely with all departments and is already involved in the early stage of product development in order to support the needs of the production.
