IF YOU WANT PRECISION: THEN BRUSS-MULTIPOLE HAS TO BE THE ANSWER
Our multipole technology: the best possible solution for high-precision signal entry when space is tight.
A high-precision signal sensor is required for the precise recording of the speed and position of shafts and shift elements in the car. These high standards in terms of precision and sensor size and flexibility in relation to design and encoding cannot be met by conventional mechanical encoder wheels. This is why our solution is referred to as multipole technology.
This enables signals to be recorded precisely for engine and transmission management. A multipole encoder wheel uses magnetizable particles incorporated in an elastomer matrix precisely to measure the speed and rotational angle changes of shafts in engines and transmissions. Other applications can be found in steering and ABS systems, electric motors and tooling machinery.
Multipole systems from BRUSS feature impressively high engine speed strength, chemical resistance and elasticity of the polymer matrix. They guarantee maximum precision, even when the smallest multipole encoder wheels are used. This means that our multipole technology has succeeded in replacing expensive systems, thus greatly reducing your costs, particularly in the area of double clutch transmissions. This is why BRUSS has three multipole encoder wheels in the first high-volume double clutch transmission; these are responsible for activating and synchronizing the shift procedures. This develops trust among our customers and motivates us to further innovations.
