MULTIPLE FUNCTIONS FROM A SINGLE
SOURCE: OUR cover MODULES
Your trust in our modules has made us the innovative force in the automobile industry we are today. We would like to thank you for this.
The various demands made on a cover module by modern engines and transmissions are enormous. This is why BRUSS offers you innovative, tailor-made cover modules with a high level of functional integration: These represent a convincing solution not just because of the excellent sealing they provide, but also because they improve emission values, while at the same time optimizing NVH. You also save logistical effort and costs because we can offer you everything from a single source – from development through material and tool manufacture to production. This kind of vertical integration distinguishes BRUSS from other manufacturers and is due in no small measure to the trust of our customers. In 2006 alone we produced over 3.5 million cam covers for them in Europe and the US, accounting for the largest number of units in this segment.

BRUSS develops and optimises
the complete system for engine
ventilation performance. Working
both on rigs and running engines.
However, BRUSS is also a leader in engine ventilation: FLAPS® and ω-FLAPS® enable us to provide our customers with efficient and robust ventilation systems that are integrated in our cover modules. The FLAPS® (Flexible Adaptive Plate Separator) system uses variable stainless steel flexible plates to achieve a constantly high rate of separation in all of the engine’s operational areas. This highly effective oil separation technology, combined with high reliability and maximum functional security, even with increased blow-by volumes, makes FLAPS® an indispensable component in the ventilation of modern engines. The innovative BRUSS system can be adapted to every engine size and variant and, thanks to its compact design, can be installed at any point in the engine compartment. Naturally BRUSS provides integrated complete solutions for engine ventilation that also meet precise requirements in relation to pressure control.
